Following the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The mission was to reduce pollution caused by the textile department with an innovative solution for brands and costumers.
A hybrid app that contributes to promote reusing, recycling and reconditioning clothing and helps people to shop consciously when they are in-store. At the same time the app gives small stores a tool to sell eco-sustainable clothes and get more informations about consumer’s behavior thanks to NFC and RFID technology.
The most challenging part of the project was to create a bridge between costumers and retailers in the ecological clothing market. We had to test and validate the idea through the use of a “Lean approach”, focused on understanding the target we wanted to achieve and then quickly test our solution. Last but not least, integrate a good affordance in the interaction between users and products creating a gamification system that could work with NFC and RFID datas.

We wanted to know more about.
We made a survey with 270 participants to better understand how aware consumers are when they’re buying in-store, and which are their choices during the purchase process. Here are the most interesting results:
